Rhetorical Analysis Topic
I have chosen to write my rhetorical analysis on Martin Luther King's "I Have A Dream Speech." Not only is it an important part of our nation's history, but it also contains a good deal of rhetoric. It refers to the U.S. Constitution as a means of authority. It also appeals to emotion with such words as "persecution", "suffering", and "languished."

as i wrote on another student's blog: this piece is very popular for analysis, but i think that can also make it challenging. it is clearly an important part of the nation's history, probably the most visible moment from the civil rights movement, and there is a lot of context behind it.
good choice.
